#PSA:The Harassment & Assault Reporting Platform (H.A.R.P) in partnership with Harrisburg Abolition Table (HAT) & Dauphin County Bail Fund (DCBF) invites you to H.A.R.P’s 2nd annual summer event following last year’s successful demonstrations highlighting the ongoing atrocities at the Dauphin County Prison.
MARK YOUR CALENDARS THIS JUNETEENTH because YOU are INVITED to join us for the 2023 LOVE in ACTION Rally as we:
Increase AWARENESS of the horrifying practices inside our county jail (DCP)
- ADVOCATE for truly rehabilitative facilities that center trauma-informed health and wellness practices
- HUMANIZE: Put a face to those who are incarcerated in DCP
- Increase CIVIC ENGAGEMENT; apply public pressure on our elected officials and prison staff to do the right thing
As we continue to:
- CONNECT people and organizations doing the on-the-ground work at DCP
- HIGHLIGHT community resources available for those interested in continued advocacy support; Surveys/Reporting forms on the Harrisburg Abolition Table (H.A.T) & the H.A.R.P Website – Data collections (compensation/wages), and
- ENCOURAGE greater PARTICIPATION in the DCP monthly Board of Inspectors Meetings.
